Chrobry Park is the largest municipal landscape park and one of the best places for outdoor pastimes.

Gliwice’s basketball team. From the 2018/2019 season, the team plays in Energa Basket Liga - Poland’s basketball premier league.

The former Prussian Cast Iron Foundry, broadly referred to as Gliwice Steelworks, was erected by John Baildon.

The necropolis, surrounded with a stone wall, was set up in 1808 by the management of the steelworks.

The Park is a remnant of a pre-war recreational complex and in 2013 it was thoroughly renovated.
