The history of the church dates back to the 15th century. Rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic style in 1890, the church is famous for its main altar, with a painting by F. Winter depicting St. Hedwig of Silesia. One of the gems of the interior design is a Baroque baptismal font from the mid-18th century, with a scene of Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan sculpted at the top.
