Welcome to Gliwice!

Gliwice stands out among the cities and towns in Upper Silesia. It was founded in the 13th century -  even today we can admire the original medieval layout of the Old Town streets and the charmig Market Square in the city centre.  At the same time it is buoyant and modern centre of economy, comerce and science. The city is located in the western part of the Silesian province. You can get here easily via the A4 motorway, runnig from the German border, through Wrocław towards Kraków. Close to Gliwice there are international Katowice Airport and Kraków Airport.
