This temple is the Armenian Catholic parish in the city. The 15th century building was once used as a hospital. It experienced numerous fires, was destroyed by floods, however, the little hospital was operating until the second half of the 19th century, when it was handed over to the Old Catholic Church of Gliwice. The Armenians took the building over after II World War and brought the painting of Virgin Mary of Łysiec from Stanisławów, considered to be miraculous.
Before the church we can see a figure of St. Nepomucen. The author of the figure is Johannes Nitsche.
