Gliwice
The Arena is equipped with a full-size circular track, throwing sector, jumps for high jump and pole vault, as well as for long jump and triple jump. There is also a shot putter for shot put and a hammer and javelin throw. The competition can be watched by half a thousand spectators.
The host of the Gliwice athletic arena is GKS Piast Gliwice, whose athletes and athletes have already entered the history of Polish sport. Ewa Gryziecka established a world record in javelin throw 45 years ago. Other great players won the medals of the Polish Championships and set the country records: Anna Dąbrowska in high jump, and Ewa Szydłowska and Iwona Pośpieszył – in medium races in junior categories. Young athletes from the Gliwice Piast try to refer to the best traditions of their section and also record great sports successes.
