Gliwice
The necropolis, surrounded with a stone wall, was set up in 1808 by the management of the steelworks. It is a resting place of people who contributed greatly to the industrial development of Gliwice, such as John Baildon, machine builder August Holtzhausen, or sculptor Theodor Kalide. For more than ten years now the cemetery has been looked after by “Gliwickie Metamorfozy” Association.
